Welcome to Music Box On-line.
The run up to Christmas looks like being a busy one, filled with
opportunities and anticipation of great things between
now and the close of the year.
The items already planned endeavour to ensure
there will be something for everyone.
Calendar & Contacts List
Both the Calendar and the Contacts List pages have been updated.
The Calendar page has been extended until the end of December.
If you know of events not listed, please e-mail Music Box so they can be included.
Courses & Workshops
The two worship workshops for guitar and organ are on track to start in November.
A number of enquiries have been received from people wishing to take up or who have
recently taken up a musical instrument.
They have requested courses or workshops to support and encourage them in their development.
We would like to hear from others within the parish who would make use of
such an opportunity if it were offered, and to ask them to e-mail Music Box
stating type of instrument, grade achieved so far (in any) and an indication
of evening or weekend availability.
Cantores Oculorum
Cantores Oculorum has got off to a flying start.
The interest shown was greater that anticipated and the group is already
rehearsing for its first public performance, more about this later.
Junior Choir
In case you missed hearing the Junior Choir sing recently at Mass,
here are two mp3 clips for you to download and play.
Holy.mp3
Accl.mp3
Please e-mail us if you think such clips are of value.
Maybe you would like to hear last week's sermon over again
(By the way, the rich brown voice towards the end of the first clip is
that of Fr Christopher.)

Hitchin. It is an open meeting and is free for any who would like to
attend. Bishop O'Brien will be attending in the afternoon.
This is one event definitely NOT to be missed by anyone who has put music together
for the liturgy. It is a good opportunity to meet and to share your endeavours
with others. A fair percentage of the music presented here becomes
published. (Bring 15 copies of what you would like to present.)
The meeting begins after the 10.00 am Eucharistic celebration
and ends with a closing liturgy based on the new music presented, presided over
by Bishop O'Brien. It finishes around 4.00 pm. Bring a packed lunch.

Mon 18 Dec: Reconciliation Service - 7.30 pm.
